A Day in the Life of the Building of the Future.: you will do itTest and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer bases.Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools providedMust adhere to company safety policies and proceduresFollow verbal and written instructionsCarry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbsPerform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipmentMust be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needsMust perform all duties in a safe and professional manner & maintain a clean and safe work areaRequiredInstallation or Service Experience in testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment.Self-starter that can work with little or no supervisionStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quicklyCapable of performing physical laborExcellent communication skillsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentValid Driver's License with good driving recordAbility to work well with othersObtain NICET I within 1 year of employmentBasic computer skills - Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with Smartphone skills
