It is the foundation of The Memorial Experience.Summary:Manages the daily operations of the Patient Transportation department to ensure effective and safe patient flow.Responsibilities:Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.Assists in developing and monitoring departmental budgets, and regulatory compliance. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies/purchases, monitors usage and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Supports special projects and business analysis as requested. One (1) year of Patient Transportation experience preferred.Five (5) years of supervisory experience with a High School Diploma. One (1) year of Patient Transportation experience preferred.Other Information: Education/Work Experience: For Associate's Degree, equivalent work experience may substitute for education requirement.
