They will work collaboratively with the Social Media Manager and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, create, curate & publish daily content using social media best practices, analytics & campaign/brand priorities.You will report to the Social Media Manager.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple Social Media Calendars & distribute weekly updates to internal stakeholdersExecute interactive content ideation, planning, production, and daily publishingIdentify, request permissions, and log user generated content to manage shared contentCreate, post, and manage short-form content such as Instagram Reels, TikTok Videos, Instagram Stories and YouTube ShortsParticipate in planning and briefing social content by working closely with the Social Media Manager, Marketing, Creative and Copy teamsOrganize and manage the content libraryAssist with gift mailings, Influencer coordination and user generated content coverageEngage with the community to answer customer service questions, proactively engage with UGC, Influencer and media contentRespond to daily mentions and comments across platforms; partner with Customer Care and escalate any feedback to cross-functional teamsDevelop daily cadence of on-brand captions and messagingGenerate weekly and monthly reports by analyzing and providing insights on key metrics and community management activityStay current on all social media platform updates and make recommendations on how to best optimize brand channel performanceForward real-time content ideas based on what is happening across social and in the beauty communityQualifications2+ years of experience in managing social media for a brand or agency. Experience in the beauty industry a plus.Share a portfolio to demonstrate creative output and skillsetAgency experience preferred to manage multiple brandsSelf-motivated demonstrating a high level of initiative, can work under tight timelines and ability to work productively on multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environmentExperience presenting on camera and comfortable doing soYou have produced and edited short-form video content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.Experience with content planning and analytics tools such as Dash Hudson, Tribe Dynamics, Skeepers and othersYou keep up with the social media trends, popular culture, and marketing developmentsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityAbility to travel as neededYou enthusiastically create thumb-stopping content and engage communities through social content and communication, in service of brand and business goalsOur BenefitsEligible for benefits as of date of hire (health, dental, vision, life and other voluntary programs)You are immediately vested in Avon's matching contributions to the 401(k) Plan.
