The person will work on further strengthen the server SIPI team capability to deliver system level signal integrity and power delivery network design and customer support for EPYC products.The PersonAs a SIPI manager in AMD server platform team, you will be directly working with silicon architecture team, package design team, and platform team to influence the design of server products. The main focus will be on system level SIPI design to meet interface timing During post-silicon stage, your team will work closely with electrical validation team to do SIPI correlation and provide electrical debugging for both internal and external customers. The person needs to have the experience of below:Deep understanding of VRM working mechanism and both passive, active modelingBoard/system-level power delivery network AC+DC simulation for low-voltage/high-current suppliesDeep understanding of DDR and HSIO system timing allocation and component impact. System-level signal integrity and power integrity understanding including silicon, package, and board.experience with DDR/HSIO electrical validation is a plusHad previous experience of managing a SIPI teamElectromagnetic modeling of 3-D structures.A key responsibility of this position will be to work closely with the customer support organization and to support customers with power integrity issuesQualificationsExperience in analog/logic validation and characterization.8+ years of experience with component and system level SIPI analysisExperience with DDR4/5, LPDDR4/5, U/R/LR DIMM JEDEC standards, PCIe4/5/6;Experience with hardware architectureEducationCandidate must possess a Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Location:Santa Clara, CABenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
