PARTNER TRACK TAX MANAGERLocation: San Francisco Bay Area- Hybrid RoleCompany Overview:Join a prestigious boutique CPA firm specializing in high-net-worth individuals and small businesses with complex tax needs. Known for a hands-on approach, a selective client base, and a collaborative, fun office culture, this firm provides a clear path to partnership for the right candidate.Position Summary:As a Partner Track Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in tax preparation, tax strategy consulting, and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and small business clients. The firm values professionals who take full ownership of the tax process rather than delegating work to junior team members.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, and Multi-State Tax ReturnsDevelop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities for clientsManage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service and complianceConduct tax research, federal tax compliance, and tax analysisProvide expert advisory services for business succession and high-net-worth individualsOversee tax planning for foreign tax situations and complex financial structuresWork closely with firm leadership to grow the practice and transition into a partner roleQualifications:CPA License (Required)5-10 years of income tax preparation experience in public accountingProficiency with Lacerte Tax (Highly Preferred)Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returnsStrong background in federal tax compliance, tax analysis, and advisoryPrior experience managing client portfolios in a boutique or small CPA firmPreferred but Not Required:Management-level tax accounting experienceExperience with QuickBooks (Pro & Online), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with OfficeTools CRMKnowledge of business succession planning and foreign tax situationsCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $125,000+ DOE401(k) with company matchMedical and dental insurance stipendsContinuing education and training opportunitiesPaid time off and holidaysWe value diversity in the workplace and encourage applications from qualified individuals regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification.
