Insurance Coverage AssociateBase Salary - $180,000 - $200,000Position OverviewThe Insurance Coverage Associate will play a pivotal role in providing legal support and analysis on insurance coverage matters. This position involves evaluating coverage issues, assessing claims, and advising clients on various insurance-related legal matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct coverage analysis to determine the applicability of insurance policies to specific claims.Assist in claims handling by providing legal guidance and supporting documentation.Engage in litigation support, including trial preparation and strategy development.Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients regarding insurance disputes.Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents related to insurance coverage matters.Ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations through thorough analysis and review of policies.Provide client counseling and advice on risk management and coverage options.Review contracts to assess insurance implications and exposures.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the state bar association.Strong understanding of insurance law and coverage analysis.Experience in claims handling and litigation support.Excellent negotiation and legal writing skills.Proven ability to conduct thorough research and analysis.Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.Strong client counseling skills and ability to manage client relationships.BenefitsThe following benefits are available for employees in the United States.
