This role is essential to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of critical healthcare systems in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. Focus: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on critical healthcare systems and building equipment, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems. Troubleshoot and repair building systems in compliance with industry safety and operational standards. Respond promptly to tenant and department requests, ensuring minimal disruption and high satisfaction. Coordinate and oversee third-party vendor work, ensuring quality standards and contract compliance. Maintain fire/life safety systems and support emergency response protocols as required. Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotation to provide continued support. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Skill Set: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or healthcare facility operations and maintenance or Prior experience, specifically within healthcare facility maintenance or similar mission-critical environments. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in related fields preferred Relevant certifications such as Universal CFC, SMA/SMT, or similar. Proficient in using computer software and maintenance management systems (Microsoft 365 experience is a plus). Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and healthcare staff. Ability to detect smoke, chemical odors, and respond appropriately in mission-critical scenarios. Healthcare facility maintenance experience is highly desirable.
