Job Summary This role is responsible for ensuring the proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment and machinery and to troubleshoot any electrical/electronic malfunctions, completing appropriate repairs and maintenance. Job Responsibilities Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical componentsInstall power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipmentDiagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct themPerform routine preventive maintenance to ensure production machines perform at an optimal levelOperate Computerized Maintenance Management SystemInspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklistsReplace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boardsDismantle equipment to gain access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power toolsLubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operationReview and comprehend blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogOperate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks as assignedExecute daily and business fundamentalsOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Job Requirements At least 5 years of maintenance experience High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceTechnical or vocational school certification preferredAbility to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructionsWorking knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principlesManufacturing/industrial environment experience desiredPhysical requirements include lifting at least 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipmentAble to perform job tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditionsMust wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes*, and protective glassesCandidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment Compensation $28 per hour to $34 per hour What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
