Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short-term and long-term sales and earnings.Primary Responsibilities:Establishes challenging but realistic goals for the sales team.Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise, and train sales personnel.Manages and assists in the development of new business. Communicates effectively with colleagues and management.Required Qualifications:Customer Service experienceMinimum 2-4 years of retail/merchandising experienceExperience working with a diverse groupHigh school graduate or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.Basic to intermediate abilities with Microsoft Office Applications.High comfort level in learning internal computer systems.Must own a reliable vehicle with current insurance.Performs sales activities on major accounts and assists sales representatives with independent accounts. Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products.Provides annual results assessments of sales staff's productivity.Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.Adheres to all sales policies, practices, and procedures.Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with key decision-makers.Works to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
