Job Description

Shoreline Veterinary Hospital is seeking a LVT to join our team! Our technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education. In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, address clients' questions, monitor anesthesia and assist with dentals. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for technicians who excel in client engagement and schedule management.This is a full-time position, with a 4 or 5 day, 9 hour schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.Full-time benefits and compensation**: Compensation: $29-35 per hour, for each hour worked* Bonus package: $2000 CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Personal pet discount Minimum qualifications and skillset: 1+ year of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of [Insert State] Proficiency in the following skills: Vaccines and venipuncture Client communication and education IVC placement Surgical assisting and anesthesia monitoring Patient care At Shoreline Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to providing quality veterinary care to the Greater-Seattle Area with our full-service medical facility, our friendly and respectful staff, and our caring and dedicated doctors.
