As a PFS Representative, you will support the Revenue Cycle Department by ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections while delivering a responsive and respectful patient experience through phone, email, and chat communication. Why You'll Love Working Here: Competitive Pay & Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Pet Insurance & more Paid Time Off & Holidays: Recharge and take care of yourself 401K with Company Match: Plan for your future Professional Growth: Leadership opportunities & career development Wellness Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & wellness initiatives Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding billing questions via phone, email, 2-way text, and chat platforms Manage patient billing and collections for urgent care visits using our practice management software Interpret and explain insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly and compassionately Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management team to resolve issues related to billing, coding, and workflow Update patient demographics and submit daily billing statements to the statement vendor Maintain compliance with insurance contracts and payer policies Coordinate with clinic teams to resolve patient billing inquiries Support overall functions and projects within the Revenue Cycle Department Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 2 years in patient billing, collections, and healthcare customer service Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance processes, eligibility, and denied claims Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with practice management or billing systems Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with patients and team members Customer Service: Ability to remain empathetic, professional, and composed when handling patient concerns or conflict Team Player: Demonstrates positivity, flexibility, and dependability in a high-volume environment Organization: Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Professionalism: Maintains a calm, courteous, and helpful demeanor while upholding patient privacy and HIPAA regulations At Four Winds Health, we believe in kindness, excellence, empowerment, resilience, and proactive service.
