Tax Manager

Tax ManagerLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Tax Manager for a regional Public Accounting firm. This firm provides exceptional tax, audit, and advisory services to a diverse client base. Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of experience and have an active CPA. This position is a hybrid role and will pay between $90K and $105K annually.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation to provide informed guidance to clients and staff.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.Supervise, mentor, and train junior tax staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive and integrated services to clients.Participate in business development activities, including networking and proposal preparation, to attract new clients and expand the firm's tax practice.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.If you are interested in learning more, please apply now.
