Position Summary:This leadership role involves overseeing civil engineering projects from inception through completion, focusing on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and master-planned developments. You will manage the design and production of construction documents involving site infrastructure such as grading, paving, stormwater systems, sanitary sewers, and water distribution. The position includes client coordination, team supervision, and technical oversight.Core Responsibilities:Manage and lead project teams in preparing detailed engineering plans and technical specifications for a wide range of land development projects.Act as the primary liaison for client communication and coordination.Oversee project status reporting, budget tracking, and invoice preparation.May lead and support the professional development of junior engineers or CAD team members.Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project execution.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in civil site design, with a strong emphasis on large-scale residential and master-planned community infrastructure.Preferably 1-2 years of experience managing projects and guiding junior technical staff.Candidates at the Assistant Project Manager level with experience leading daily technical efforts are encouraged to apply.Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools such as HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or similar.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Prior experience working with local government agencies and municipalities is highly desirable.Compensation & Benefits:401(k) plan with a 100% match on contributions up to 4%, plus a 3% Safe Harbor contribution"”both with immediate vesting.Performance-based bonus opportunities.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; employer contributions available for HSA plans.Generous paid time off (PTO), ranging from 2 to 4 weeks based on experience, with unused vacation rolling over annually."Unlimited" sick leave policy.Access to a structured mentorship program designed to support growth through guidance from experienced professionals.
