Civil Estimator

Job Title: Civil EstimatorJob Location: Wendall, NCSalary: $80k-135kRequirements: 3+ years of civil estimating. Experience with Agtek and/or HCSS HeavyBid highly preferred. DOT experience required.Position OverviewThe Civil Estimator will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents to provide accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and have experience with various estimating software and methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including earthwork, underground utilities, and highway construction.Utilize estimating software such as AGTEK, HCSS, and HeavyBid to develop accurate bid proposals.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project risks and develop strategies for cost control.Review and analyze subcontractor proposals and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and completeness.Maintain accurate documentation of all estimates and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and DOT standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil estimating or related roles.Proficiency in estimating software including AGTEK, HCSS, and HeavyBid.Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and highway construction processes.Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements.BenefitsMedical VisionDental401(K)And More!
