Paving Superintendent - Asphalt

Job Title: Paving SuperintendentJob Location: Durham, NCSalary: $90k-120kRequirements: 5+ years asphalt paving experience. Highway construction experience also highly preferred.Position OverviewThe Paving Superintendent will oversee all aspects of paving operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing crews, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate paving operations and crew activities on job sites.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among team members.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines.Communicate with project managers and clients regarding project status and requirements.Manage materials and equipment to minimize waste and ensure efficiency in operations.Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.Train and mentor crew members in paving techniques and safety practices.QualificationsProven experience as a Paving Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in construction.Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, concrete work, and roadway construction.Familiarity with highway and street construction practices and safety regulations.A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.BenefitsMedical Vision Dental 401(K)BonusAnd More!
