Shop ForemanPosition OverviewThe Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing all operations within the fabrication shop, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role involves managing staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities of shop personnelEnsure adherence to safety protocols and regulationsManage workflow to meet project deadlines and quality standardsConduct regular inspections of fabrication processes and equipmentTrain and mentor staff on fabrication techniques and safety practicesCollaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret blueprints and specificationsMaintain inventory of materials and supplies, and order as necessaryImplement quality control measures to ensure high-quality outputQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferredProven experience in a supervisory role within a fabrication or construction environmentStrong knowledge of steel fabrication and structural construction practicesFamiliarity with AISC standards and pre-engineered structuresExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
