Midway Animal Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedGroomer to join our growing team! We are an award winning, full-service, small animal hospital proudly serving the city of Alpharetta and the greater North Atlanta area. Our practice offers a range of services to our clients, including high quality medical care and professional grooming, all under one roof! We are seeking an experienced, full-time Groomer to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.In this role, you will groom pets from start to finish including brush out, bathing, drying, clipping, shaving, scissor cutting, and styling according to breed standards or as requested by the client. Groomers are also responsible for clipping and filing nails, expressing anal glands, removing ear hair, brushing teeth, and applying topical flea treatments as requested.Full-time benefits and compensation**: Compensation: 50% Commission + Tips (Our groomers earn an average of $850-1000 per week based on a full time schedule and number of clients) Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with HSA option Life insurance, disability, and 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discounts on veterinary care Employee Assistance Program Qualifications and requirements: 3+ years of grooming experience Knowledge and ability to work with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Knowledge of breed grooming standards Formal grooming training or certification is a plus!
