This is an outstanding opportunity for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit, drive for career advancement and desire to develop relationships while growing a book of business.Build, maintain, and grow a book of businessManage agency relationships and serve as lead client contactCreate and execute marketing plan to increase new and renewal businessRate and quote each risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing for large or complex renewals as well as new businessDevelop and submit referrals to company brokerage facilities and Burns & Wilcox managementMonitor key metrics to formulate corrective action impacting new business hit, renewal retention, premium growth, and loss ratioLead, train, and develop Associate BrokersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 3 years of Property brokerage experience required; excess & surplus experience preferredDemonstrated proficiency in sales and marketingProven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detailInterest in continued education and professional developmentInsurance license, CIC or comparable designations preferredCompensation Package:Competitive base compensation + discretionary bonus.
