Tax ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our company's tax planning and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to tax regulations and provide strategic guidance to enhance our tax position while minimizing liabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the preparation of federal and state tax returns.Develop tax strategies to optimize our tax position and ensure compliance with current regulations.Review and analyze financial statements and tax filings to identify potential tax savings.Provide guidance on tax implications for business transactions and investments, particularly in real estate and trusts.Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, especially in California, and assess their impact on the organization.Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a related role.Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations, especially California tax laws.Experience in real estate accounting and trust taxation is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
