The company values doing what’s right for both its customers and employees and provides ongoing training, support, and opportunities for career advancement.Position Summary: The Tax Manager/ Senior Tax Manager will play a key role within the corporate finance function, working closely with the accounting and financial reporting teams. The position oversees the tax compliance and provision functions, manages one direct report, and collaborates with cross-functional departments.Key Responsibilities:Prepare quarterly income tax provisions and support budget/forecast tax functionsManage federal and state income tax return compliance in coordination with external advisors and internal accounting centerOversee outsourced state and local tax filingsPrepare book-to-tax adjustments and perform tax account reconciliationsCalculate federal and state estimated tax paymentsCollaborate on fixed asset tax reporting and property tax complianceSupport audits and respond to tax authority correspondenceCoordinate data collection with internal departments for tax analysisContribute to special projects including M&A, due diligence, and technical tax researchAssist with sales/use tax and other ad hoc tax initiativesQualifications:Bachelor’s or higher in Accounting or TaxCPA or MST strongly preferredMinimum 5 years of tax experience in a corporate tax department and/or public accountingExperience with federal and multi-state tax compliance (Forms 1120, 1120-F, etc.)Prior experience managing compliance processesPreferred software experience: Corptax, Sage Fixed Assets, Hyperion, SAPStrong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills required
