Landfill Gas Wellfield Technician

Job DescriptionVitol BioMethane, LLC (VBM) is looking for a Landfill Gas Wellfield Technician for our Landfill Gas to Energy (LFGTE) project located at the Black Warrior Landfill in Coker, AL. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and be a part of the energy transition by supporting production of a renewable energy source.This full-time position is based on-site, working a standard eight (8) hour shift, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends (as needed). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.Position Summary:Perform well field tuning and monitoring of the landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) for a high BTU landfill gas project.Providing maintenance and repair tasks for the GCCS including pumps, piping, wellsProviding maintenance of the GCCS blower/flare, air compressor, analytical equipment, and other equipmentProvide upkeep of monitoring equipment and report issues to Site SupervisorRecording and maintaining daily field logsAssisting in various project and construction related tasks as assignedEffectively communicating with and assisting on-site staff, including Supervisors and ManagementFollowing all company safety procedures and policiesMost of the work will be conducted at the site.
