Your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.Preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company standards.Crafting fresh bagels, sandwiches, and bakery items, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Operating coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.Keeping the workstation, coffee bar, and prep areas stocked, clean, and well-organized.Following food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols to meet all health and safety regulations.Handling transactions at the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, including processing cash and card payments.Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with restocking supplies as needed.Supporting teammates by assisting in different areas as required.Upholding company appearance and uniform standards, including wearing slip-resistant shoes.Addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Performing any additional duties assigned by management.Education, Experience, CertificationsExperience in a café, coffee shop, or fast-casual dining environment is preferred but not required.High school diploma or GED preferred.Barista or coffee-making experience is a plus but not required.Position QualificationsAbility to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Ability to follow recipes, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs., and work in an environment with varying temperatures.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing demands.This job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the role but may be adjusted as necessary.
