This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, cost control, and the ability to analyze project specifications to provide reliable estimates that meet client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for municipal and commercial construction projectsAnalyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to assess project scopeDevelop and maintain a database of costs and resources for estimating purposesCoordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather relevant cost dataReview and validate subcontractor quotes and proposalsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators in the departmentParticipate in bid meetings and presentations to clientsMonitor market trends and recommend strategies to improve estimating accuracyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in municipal and commercial projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable codesProficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical and mathematical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesBenefits Medical Dental Vision 401k Matching FSA HSA PTOand more!Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
