Millwork Estimator

Location: Landover, MDSalary: $90-130k DOEPosition OverviewThe Millwork Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating the costs of millwork projects based on architectural plans and specifications. This role requires a deep understanding of millwork materials, processes, and industry standards to provide precise and competitive quotes while ensuring adherence to quality and sustainability requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview architectural drawings and specifications to prepare detailed millwork estimates.Collaborate with project managers and designers to clarify project requirements and scope.Conduct site visits to gather necessary measurements and assess project conditions.Prepare and submit comprehensive cost estimates for millwork projects.Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam Revu and Procore for project management and estimation processes.Ensure compliance with AWI guidelines, LEED certification standards, and FSC requirements in all estimates.Analyze project costs and prepare reports for management review.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork estimation or a related role.Proficiency in estimation software and tools such as Bluebeam Revu and Procore.Strong understanding of architectural plans and millwork specifications.Knowledge of AWI guidelines, LEED certification, and FSC requirements.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.Benefits401kDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
