Job Title: Senior Project Engineer-Structural EngineeringLocation:● Primary: Los Angeles, CA● Secondary: San Diego, CA● Relocation: Open for the right candidateWork Schedule:● Monday – Friday (in-office) with Work-from-Home (WFH) on FridaysCompensation: $107,120 - $115,440Employment Type: Full-timeEligibility: Open to candidates eligible to work in the U.S.Must-Have Qualifications● Experience: Minimum 7-10+ years of building design experience.● Education: Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university (required).● Technical Expertise:- Strong experience with Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).- Experience in a wide range of structural materials and building types.- Ability to design and detail structural systems for large, complex structures.- Proficiency in working with BIM designers, architects, and consultants.● Seismic & Structural Knowledge:- Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofitting (ASCE 41) is a plus.- Experience working with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus.Nice-to-Have Qualifications● SE License (preferred, but not required).● Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor junior engineers.● Experience working on high-rise, commercial, aviation, healthcare, and institutional projects.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles or San Diego. This position is a key technical leadership role, where the selected candidate will work alongside Project Managers and structural engineers to deliver innovative and cost-effective structural designs.As a Senior Project Engineer, you will work on large-scale Type I structural projects, collaborate with architects and designers, and provide expertise on seismic, structural, and high-rise projects.
