If you're someone who has experience in Italian cuisine and a strong connection to Italian culture, has knowledge of pasta making techniques and loves the hospitality industry, then you've come to the right place!Evento - a rapidly growing culinary events company is looking for an experienced pasta maker who also has a passion for sharing their knowledge with others.Check out our website or instagram @ciaoevento to get a sense of our fun vibe!Responsibilities include:Act as lead instructor for pasta making eventsMake pasta fresh pasta on daily basis Cook for Evento experiences on an as needed basisTrain staff for Evento experiences and pasta productionResponsible for all equipment associated with pasta production, manage and maintain inventory as well as communicate needs to leadershipManage ingredient inventory for all pasta productionWork cross-functionally with Evento leadership and operations team to make sure all functions of Evento's pasta needs are met during future planningMeet regularly with Evento leadership team Evento is a dynamic work environment and other responsibilities may arise, and while we strongly believe in a work life balance we also are looking for dedicated hardworking team members Desired Experience2+ years working in a commercial kitchen environment, must have experience making fresh pastaPreferred - experience leading groups in cooking classesPreferred - experience cooking for large groups at oncePreferred - outgoing, strong communications skills and friendlyPreferred - great attention to detailPreferred - interpersonal skills to communicate with clientsPreferred - New York Food Handling License Certificate (we can help obtain this if you do not have it)
