Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Attorney to join their prestigious Professional Liability practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated attorney to play a key role in complex legal malpractice matters and State Bar disciplinary proceedings, while also offering the potential to transition into a full-time, salaried position after an initial evaluation period of 30-60 days.What We’re Looking For:3-5 years of hands-on experience in litigation, with a proven ability to tackle complex legal issues head-onExceptional writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to craft clear, compelling argumentsA self-starter who thrives in an environment where you can manage assignments independently while maintaining a high standard of qualityAn active Georgia Bar membership (or the willingness to waive in)Professional liability experience is a plus, but a passion for this area of law is essential!Key Responsibilities:Dive into new client matters, help develop creative strategies, and get involved in the action from the startInvestigate and draft responses to State Bar disciplinary matters, ensuring top-notch legal counselBe the go-to person for client ethics inquiries, providing expert legal guidance and supportManage all aspects of written discovery requests – from document review to production and eDiscovery tasks – ensuring a smooth processDraft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other essential legal documents that move cases forwardTake and defend fact and expert depositions, honing your skills in litigationRepresent clients in hearings, argue motions, and advocate for their interests in court proceedingsWork alongside senior counsel and partners to prepare for trial and provide critical trial supportKeep clients and insurance carriers informed and up to date on the progress of their mattersEngage in exciting business development activities, including seminars, workshops, and firm retreats, while contributing to the firm’s growth and visibilityWhy You’ll Love This Role: This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to grow your career with a respected firm that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
