EstimatorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects to ensure proper budgeting and resource allocation. The Estimator will analyze project specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver precise estimates that support successful project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project plans and specifications to understand project requirements and scope.Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment necessary for construction projects.Conduct quantity takeoffs and analyze labor requirements based on project specifications.Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project estimates.Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and submit them in a timely manner.Monitor project costs and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the construction process.QualificationsProven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.Strong understanding of construction methods and processes.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Proficiency in estimation software and tools.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Project Management experience is a plus.Knowledge of Heavy Highway, Civil Construction, Utility Construction, and Bridge Construction is preferred.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
