The Mobile Dental Assistant / Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting high-quality patient care in a dynamic, on-the-road environment. The position requires the ability to travel out of state for up to two months at a time and collaborate effectively with dental professionals in a mobile setting.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive and unload the company vanSet up and break down mobile dental operatories and equipmentPrepare patients for treatment, take vitals, and collect medical historiesAssist dentists with procedures including crown preparation and taking impressionsFabricate temporary restorations and custom impressionsRecord patient treatment and maintain accurate dental chartsManage and maintain dental supply and equipment inventorySterilize and clean dental instruments and removable appliancesDeliver dental supplies and products (e.g., mouthguards)Troubleshoot logistical and technical issues related to mobile operationsQualificationsPost-secondary certificate from an accredited dental assistant program1–2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceX-Ray Certification (Preferred)Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to travel out of state for extended periodsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbout The CompanyA fast-growing mobile dental practice based in Newport Beach, CA, dedicated to bringing high-quality dental care to patients across the country.
