RiseWell Community Services is looking for a full-time CASAC for our Clinical Department, working in RiseWell’s new branch of Substance Use Services in the Opioid Treatment Program. Our clinic is a crucial addition to the county in treating and helping individuals struggling with opioid addiction manage withdrawal symptoms and allow them to focus on recovery.In this position, you will be providing therapeutic groups and individual interventions to assist members in substance use recovery. As a part of an interdisciplinary team, you’ll be working to improve the health and quality of life of a caseload of program members.Our CASAC should be a dynamic and proactive individual who excels independently but also as a collaborative team member. Ideally, you are a self-starter with a commitment to making a meaningful impact.The world does not run out of people to help…and we need people like YOU to help us make a positive change in the community!SALARY: $40k -45k AnnuallyQualificationsMaster’s in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related fieldNYS Licensed preferredMinimum 1 year experience in mental health and substance use treatmentValid and clean NY State driver licenseFingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from OASASStrong interpersonal skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsCore & Essential ResponsibilityProvide therapeutic services to groups and individuals to assist in mental health and substance use recoveryResponsible for facilitation and conducting substance use treatment in the programComplete all required documentation within a 48 hour periodEffectively comply with program and OASAS regulationsEffectively maintain a caseload of program membersFormulate and conduct group treatmentCoordinate quality care with members and outside resourcesAssist in the maintenance of the center and ensure the environment promotes recoveryResponsible to comply with agency Compliance plan and False Claims Policy by preventing, detecting and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud.
