Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Pride Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, quality imaging, and timely service delivery. The ideal candidate is experienced in fusion imaging and comfortable working in a high-volume hospital environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging studies of various organ systems and vascular structures.Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with protocols and safety standards.Operate imaging equipment and related technology with a high level of technical expertise.Ensure patient safety by applying ALARA principles and performing accurate exposure techniques.Assist in transporting patients and maintaining patient comfort throughout procedures.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and departmental standards.Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver diagnostic results.Required Qualifications:California DHS License (N) (R)ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB CertificationBLS Certification from American Heart Association (AHA only)Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program (2 years)Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital setting performing nuclear medicine procedures including fusion imagingMust be capable of patient transportation duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:ARRT (CT) CertificationBilingual skills in Spanish or ChineseAdditional Details:Location: Whittier, CA 90602Schedule: 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | 40 hours/weekContract Length: 13 weeksGross Weekly: $2600 - $2730/ Weekly*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Interested?
