Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Santa Monica, California. Responsibilities: Perform clinical procedures and assist providers with patient care.Manage prescription refills, medication prior authorizations, and patient documentation.Maintain exam rooms, ensure proper supply stocking, and support efficient patient flow.Adhere to HIPAA regulations, compliance protocols, and standard patient care processes.Collaborate with healthcare teams and be willing to float to other clinics as needed.Required Qualifications: High School graduate, GED or equivalentCompletion of a Medical Assistant training program accredited by a recognized accrediting body (e.g., ABHES or CAAHEP).Certification by a Medical Assistant Certifying Organization approved by the State Medical BoardCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationBilingual in English and Spanish preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.Additional Information: Location: Santa Monica, CaliforniaJob Type: Contract – 13 weeks *possible extension*Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pmPay Range: $ 24.00 to 27.00/hour. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
