Job Description

The Judge Group is hiring Speech Language Pathologists for the upcoming 2025-2026 School Year! Summary programs available, as well! Open to full-time or part-time candidates! Job ResponsibilitiesAccept and process referrals for children suspected of having communication disorders.Facilitate the screening and evaluation process in accordance with program procedures.Conduct screenings and evaluations independently, within a multidisciplinary team, or within a transdisciplinary framework.Identify communication disorders through comprehensive assessments.Prepare detailed evaluation reports (ER), either individually or collaboratively.Develop, review, and modify Individual Education Programs (IEP) for eligible children in coordination with parents, educators, and relevant personnel.Deliver appropriate intervention services, including individual, group, classroom-based, and community-based support.Provide consultation for parents, teachers, and professionals on managing communication disorders and their link to literacy development.Assist in designing, organizing, and conducting training sessions focused on communication and literacy development.Support curriculum development and implementation related to communication and literacy.Participate in grant-funded projects aimed at enhancing communication and literacy programs for children.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; Master’s Degree preferred.Completion of Clinical Fellowship (CF) Year required.Pennsylvania state certification, as mandated by the Department of Education.Credentials for participation in the School-Based ACCESS Program preferred.ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) preferred.Additional coursework in communication, reading, and literacy is desirable.Experience working with students with special needs or developmental delays and expertise in program development and implementation.For Speech-Language Therapists assigned to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program, familiarity with deaf culture and experience with profoundly hearing-impaired students preferred.Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required.Must meet all requirements for provider clearance under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and federal healthcare programs, including Medical Assistance (MA) compliance.
