MRI Technologist

Pride Health is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist to join our client’s healthcare facility in Austin, TX 78717. The ideal candidate will perform advanced MRI exams while ensuring compliance with MR safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Checks room daily for adequate stock necessary to facilitate continuous exam flow. Maintains appropriate inventory asindicated by posted par levels and updates supply lists when items are needed.Confirms patient identity with approved identifiers.Demonstrating age-appropriate care with all patients, appropriately prepares patients for procedures.Verifies patient’s pregnancy and informed consent statuses.Assesses factors that may contraindicate the procedure; such as, medication contraindications, patient risk for reaction tomedications, patient history, laboratory results, insufficient patient preparation or artifacts.Based on order, determines type and dose of contrast agent to be administered based on patient’s age, weight andmedical/physical status.Anticipates and responds to patient's needs throughout the entire encounter.Ensures all non-MRI personnel are screened prior to entry into Zones III & IV.Qualifications:ARRT (MR) Certification (Required).Required- Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology programPreferred- R-ARRT - Preferred- CMRT - Cert Med Radiologic Technologist Texas Medical Board.Require- 3 years MR experienceAdditional Information:Location: Austin, TX 78717Schedule: Friday 8:30-5p, Saturday 7a- 7:30p, Sunday 7a- 7:30p, Monday 8:30a- 5p call as needed during the week every 3rd weekContract Length: 13 weeksPay Rate: $64 - $69/hour*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Interested?
