A community-based mental health program is seeking a Family Therapist to join its Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 9am to 5pmTeam: Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)Location: Richmond Hill, NY + Field-Based ServicesResponsibilities:Conduct comprehensive family/social assessments and participate in integrated client treatment planningProvide individual, family, and group-based counseling, with a focus on family psychoeducationDeliver services primarily in the community with some sessions onsite at the Richmond Hill officeLead efforts to integrate family goals with overall care plans developed by the teamComplete timely documentation of assessments, treatment updates, and session notesContribute to treatment plans, risk assessments, and outcome trackingParticipate in daily team meetings, care coordination discussions, and clinical supervisionCoordinate family engagement strategy with clinicians, prescribers, and case managersStay current on evidence-based approaches to family systems therapy and trauma-informed careQualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, and other related field (New graduates with clinical training are welcome!)Desired Skills:NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)Experience or training in Family Psychoeducation and Family Systems Therapy
