LETC is currently seeking a Clinical Director to lead JFTN’s clinical program and work in partnership with the Program Director to lead the program’s administrative team. The ideal candidate will work from a trauma-informed, attachment-based lens, and may have experience with behavior modification, DIR Floortime, and play therapy. The candidate should have good knowledge of OMH regulations and will have strong organizational, managerial, and leadership skills.Key Essential Functions:Responsible for the mental health operations in accordance with NY State and OMH regulations, and other contracts; and oversees all clinical services provided by JFTN clinical staff comprised of licensed social workers, psychologists, and creative arts therapists.Ensures that appropriate records are kept in accordance with outlined procedures and completed in a timely manner, in and outside of Electronic Health Records System.Provides mental health staff training and development for all school staffWorks collaboratively with other clinical and educational supervisors on school leadership team to support daily program operations and interdisciplinary missionLeads weekly clinical team meeting and monthly full clinical meeting (including speech, occupation, and physical therapists).Provides regularly scheduled supervision to clinical staff and conducts performance evaluations for supervised staff.Maintains all contract compliance.Assists with development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures.Monitors agency therapeutic services for appropriateness and effectiveness.Participates in the intake process for new referrals, and review current students’ progress for appropriate placementEnsures appropriate supervision of all program interns/externs, either through direct supervision or by overseeing the clinical supervision provided by the social worker/ psychologist.Co-facilitates weekly caregiver support/psychoeducation groupMay carry a caseload, as neededMay supervise the behavior support teamMay run specialized groups to meet the needs of the program.Other tasks as assignedQualifications, Skills and Experience:Commitment to LETC’s mission, vision and approach in order to ensure a patient-centric culture which is collaborative and interdisciplinaryA passion for working with children through a trauma-focused lens and viewing children and families through a strength-based approachA minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with a high needs populationA minimum of 3 years of management and supervisory experienceAn ideal candidate would have familiarity with the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and knowledge of OMH regulationsA demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingCultural competency to serve diverse patient population and workforcePossess solid general computer skillsLCSW or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) requiredBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceAccident InsuranceAuto & Home InsuranceAuto Savings MembershipCritical Illness InsuranceHospital Indemnity InsuranceIdentity Theft ProtectionLegal ServicesOMH Loan Repayment ProgramDisability InsuranceGenerous vacation, paid holidays, and sick daysGym Membership DiscountGym Membership ReimbursementPet InsurancePlum BenefitsPre-employment ServicesVerizon Wireless DiscountVision Care ReimbursementLETC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
