We fine-tune your health, systematically reverse your aging process, and proactively increase your vitality throughout your lifespan.Position Summary:We are seeking a proactive, well-being-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our precision medicine practice. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong focus on personalized patient care, optimal aging, and advanced health optimization protocols. The ideal candidate is passionate about precision medicine and thrives in a forward-thinking, patient-centric environment.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Support:Serve as a client care concierge by coordinating external services, including initiating and obtaining prior authorizations for medical services and treatment, including medication approvals, updating requisitions, and arranging laboratory services. Transmit doctor-approved prescription refills as directed, assist with correspondences with pharmacy, including transmitting insurance and other payment information, updating clients, following up on script fulfillment or cancellation, etc. Coordinate services with phlebotomists or labs. Mobile phlebotomy duties upon request.Complete blood draws, collect and prepare laboratory specimens, package specimens and schedule pickups, complete records, track the delivery and receipt of the results. Perform basic laboratory tests, including electrocardiograms.Assist with the administration of IVsSupport providers during clinical evaluations, treatments, and follow-up proceduresMaintain exam rooms and ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and ready for useAdministrative Duties:Schedule new patient intakes, diagnostic testing, and intakes.Accurately document patient interactions and clinical data in the EMR.Coordinate lab orders, specialty kits, and medication/supplement refills.Communicate with compounding pharmacies and specialty labs regarding patient orders.Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality by HIPAA guidelines.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant programCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials through AAMA, AMT, or NHAPhlebotomy certification requiredCurrent BLS/CPR certificationMinimum 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a wellness, integrative, concierge, or functional medicine settingExperience with EMRs and patient engagement platformsPreferred Skills & Attributes:Genuine interest in longevity and emerging health technologiesExceptional communication skills and a warm, supportive bedside mannerHigh attention to detail, organization, and clinical precisionAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving clinical settingTeam player with a growth mindset and willingness to learn new protocols and modalities
