An inpatient child and adolescent mental health facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. About the OpportunityOn Site, Hybrid, Remote: on siteShift: Day ShiftSchedule: Part time - 20 hours per weekSetting: Inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Responsibilities:Perform professional speech-language pathology servicesProvide Speech language evaluation for each individual; assess, diagnose, treat and work to prevent communication and swallowing disorders.Provide speech screening to all patients, and continue to screen new admissionsProvide speech therapy as described in individual IEP's.Provide speech therapy to patients identified as needing speech servicesProvide speech/communication groups with clinically identified patientsDocument services with progress notes.Attend treatment review meetings for patients receiving servicesRequirements:Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist licenseExperience providing speech language pathology service to children and/or adolescents PreferredPrevious experience working with the mental health population
