We're currently hiring in Rockville, Maryland to support a district in need of an Art Therapist.Responsibilities:Conduct assessments to determine students’ emotional and psychological needs.Develop individualized treatment plans using art therapy techniques.Facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions for students dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or social challenges.Work collaboratively with school staff, counselors, psychologists, and administrators to integrate mental health support into the school environment.Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and communications.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Art Therapy, Counseling, or a related mental health field.Licensure or certification as an Art Therapist (ATR or ATR-BC preferred).Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or therapeutic settings preferredEmpathy, patience, and a deep commitment to student well-being.We understand that students come first in schools, so we offer a range of benefits, programs, and support services to help you find the right employer fit and stay focused on caring for your students.
