Company DescriptionWe are a Family owned Pharmacy, has been in Bakersfield, CA market for over than 7 years, recently opened a Second location Pharmacy in Bakersfield Downtown.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.DutiesReview and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.Dispense medications accurately while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Provide patient care services, including medication counseling and education on proper medication use.Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized medication management plans.Compounding medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and standards.Administer immunizations in accordance with state regulations.Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as necessary for optimal outcomes.Participate in acute care settings, including critical care environments, when required.Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions using pharmacy software.Support pediatric patients by providing specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to their unique needs.SkillsProficiency in pharmacy software for efficient medication management.Experience or training in acute care settings is highly desirable.Completion of a pharmacy residency program is preferred but not mandatory.Knowledge of pediatric pharmacotherapy and the ability to provide care for younger patients.Strong skills in compounding medications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Ability to perform IV insertion when necessary for patient treatment.Familiarity with medical management principles to support comprehensive patient care.Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with pharmaceutical advancements.Job Type: Full-timePay: $68.00 - $72.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekContact us directly for additional information on (661) 489-5309.Schedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekends as neededWork Location: In person
