PODIATRISTContra Costa County, CAContra Costa Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team as an Independent Contractor, serving a busy county hospital. This position would be for an Independent Contractor with competitive compensation that offers autonomy over one’s clinical practice. Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive podiatric care in outpatient clinics at multiple locations in Contra Costa County (Martinez, San Pablo and Pittsburg)Perform podiatric surgeries (elective and urgent), as indicatedParticipate in on-call coverage Qualifications:Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from an accredited school of podiatryLicense to practice podiatry in CaliforniaCompletion of an accredited podiatric residency programBoard certification or eligibility in Podiatric Medicine and SurgeryValid DEA licenseExperience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Excellent problem-solving skillsGood team player; ability to work collaboratively with the podiatry team and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patientsExcellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively educate and treat patientsExperience and proficiency in treating patients with wounds and limb-threatening conditions.Surgical training in forefoot, rearfoot proceduresFluoroscopy license required for surgical privilegesNew fellow/residency graduates encouraged to apply.
