We will be the most trusted health partner for life.Hours:Full-Time 1.0FTE (on-site)Day ShiftMonday-FridayArea: Operation ExcellenceLocations: LUHS, Maywood, IL; includes occasional travel to Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal HospitalAbout the RoleIn this role, The Operational Excellence Project Manager, will be responsible for the delivery of complex, medium to large initiatives. Coordinates development of business requirements collaborates with multi-disciplinary stakeholders and facilitates teams to implement projects on-time, on-budget and in-scope. Responsible for managing team members through implementation and serves as an interface with senior management, sponsors and stakeholders.Determines project plans, monitors costs and timeliness on ongoing basis to ensure deliverables meet expectations and manages change through strong leadership skills.Here's what you'll doLead and facilitate process improvement initiatives that align with Trinity Health’s strategic goals in areas such as patient safety, care quality, cycle time, rework reduction, financial stewardship, and employee satisfaction.Serve as an internal consultant to RHMs, providing expert guidance on the application of Lean, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), and Rapid Process Improvement methods.Develop and deliver training to build problem-solving capabilities across all levels of the organization.Use data-driven approaches to identify performance gaps and recommend practical, sustainable solutions.Collaborate with leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and measure success through key performance indicators.Support organizational readiness and change management activities to ensure adoption and sustainability of process changes.Here is what you'll needRequired: Bachelor's DegreeSpecific Degree: health administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in clinical improvement initiatives is highly desirable.Experience in process improvement and/or project management/process planningExcellent communicator and team builder.Experience conducting Lean assessments, facilitating Kaizen events, building and implementing improvement plans, providing hands on training and coaching of key projects and teams.A good understanding of Lean principlesPreferred: Master's DegreeLicensure/CertificationsPreferred:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Lean Six Sigma certificationPerks & BenefitsBenefits from Day One (Medical and Dental)Competitive Shift Differentials Career DevelopmentTuition ReimbursementParticipation in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program403(b) with Employer MatchOn Site Fitness Center (Gottlieb Memorial Hospital & LUMC)Referral RewardsPerks ProgramOur Promise to YouJoining Loyola Medicine is being a part of an organization that treats the human spirit in our patients and fellow colleagues.
