This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical environment.Responsibilities:Create appropriate treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.Provide direct patient care, including monitoring behavior and emotional status, and reporting any changes to the clinical team.Facilitate therapeutic activities and group sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.Support patients with addiction counseling and behavior management strategies.Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals.Conduct research as needed to support evidence-based practices within the facility.QualificationsPrevious experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and clinical counseling techniques is advantageous.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.Experience working with children and young adults ages 5 - 21. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.Familiarity with mental health disorders and treatment modalities is essential.A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health.Master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling is required for consideration
