The Judge Group is seeking a Radiologist for a contract role supporting the VA!Facility: Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical CenterLocation: On-site Opportunity (Not Remote)Schedule: 7 AM - 3 PM, 5 days a weekCertifications Required:Board Certified per American Board of RadiologyACLS/BLSNPI, OIG, NPDB, SAM, GSAGeneral Summary:Radiologists at Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center support direct patient care needs across various Medical Centers nationwide. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting a range of radiology examinations, including:RadiographyUltrasonography (non-vascular)Computed Tomography (general CT: thorax, abdomen, pelvis, extremities; excluding Neuroradiology)Musculoskeletal/Abdominal MRIVascular CT and MRI (including barium and related examinations)FluoroscopyThe physician will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, registered nurses, and allied health professionals, to deliver comprehensive health care services. Services may be provided face-to-face or through telehealth. Familiarity with personal computers and adequate typing skills for data entry (progress notes and physician orders) are required. Training on the computerized medical record system will be provided.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Adhere to all policies, performance measures, rules, and regulations.Function as a full team member of the interdisciplinary team, serving patients at the facilities.Participate in the facility's PEER review process, including external reviews.Provide telemedicine services via Clinical Video conferencing, as needed.Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure continuity of patient care.Act as a patient advocate.Perform collateral duties such as running interdisciplinary tumor boards, educating technologists, and participating in hospital committees.Other Duties and Responsibilities:Perform additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.Education and Experience:Medical degree from an accredited university required.Board Certified in accordance with ACR standards.
