About The Mind Open Psychological AssessmentsThe Mind Open Psychological Assessments provides a variety of evaluations based on an individual’s needs. Some of these evaluations include:Court-admissible psychological evaluations used to support decisions around legal guardianshipVocational evaluations to determine strengths and weaknesses for employmentSchool evaluations to determine students’ needsWe partner with families, attorneys, and care teams to deliver ethical, clear, and high-quality assessments for individuals who are often neurodivergent or navigating complex care needs.Our work makes a direct impact — and we are looking for the right person to help us grow.Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a recent graduate or early-career LLP who is excited to build hands-on testing experience and be trained in a system that prioritizes clarity, fairness, and compassion. You don’t need years of experience — you just need strong writing skills, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn.We will teach you how to administer assessments, gather the right clinical information, and write professional reports that matter. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in the field, help real people, and grow as a clinician.What You’ll Be DoingAdminister standardized in-person assessments and conduct clinical interviews, based on the referral question (We will train you on our tools and process)Write clear, accurate psychological reports used in court or service eligibility casesWork closely with our team to ensure every report meets our standards for quality and professionalismCommunicate with clients, families, and other professionals with warmth and respectRequirementsMaster’s degree in PsychologyActive LLP license in MichiganLocated in or near Metro Detroit with access to reliable transportationStrong writing and critical thinking skillsCurious, teachable, and eager to growComfortable working independently in the field after training, with in-person support from our teamMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesWilling to complete a background check as part of the onboarding process, in alignment with the needs of the populations we serveNice to Have (But Not Required)Any experience with psychological testing (through school, practicum, or clinical rotations)Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in systems of careBilingual or multilingual (not required, but helpful)Compensation & Structure1099 contractual positionCommission-based pay per completed assessment (Split based on supervision and referrals)Flexible scheduling based on your availabilityFull training and ongoing support from our teamWork EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position. You’ll conduct in-person assessments with clients in Metro Detroit and complete scoring and report writing remotely.
