The Onsite Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the promotion and facilitation of a supportive culture of success and wellbeing for our clients. Through building relationships, communicating effectively, and utilizing evidence-based practices, the coordinator helps to improve individual and organizational health and wellbeing by increasing confidence and competence through greater participation, engagement, completion, and satisfaction of the client’s comprehensive corporate health program. Additionally, the On-site Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the assessment of individual and collective employee needs and readiness to change to deliver appropriate education, support, and guidance.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Participate as a key member of the client management team responsible for planning, design, implementation, delivery and evaluation of comprehensive corporate health promotion programs including, but not limited to, health screenings, awareness events and classes, health communications, health challenges and health coaching, lifestyle interventions, health education and high-risk management programming and program analysisOnsite leadership and communication of the company-wide wellness incentive programBuild relationships at the employee and leadership level, supporting investment in the wellness programPractice cultural competence and empathy, deeply learning and immersing self in company cultureUtilize behavior change methods (such as motivational interviewing) during one-on-one and small group coaching sessions to encourage adoption of healthy lifestyle habits, emphasizing preventative care, and maintaining healthy lifestyle behaviorsAssist with the integration of a robust online wellness portal platform with onsite activitiesWork with the client management team to develop and analyze reports on health data, participation, activities, engagement and overall program results to drive strategic actions of wellness programsOutline calendar of events targeting health risks for varying work populationsConduct new hire trainings and orientation regarding the wellness program offeringsLeverage health plan, wellness and community resources as part of the wellness program supportOnsite client liaison responsibilities – in coordination with offsite client management teamDevelopment and deployment of communications supporting program offerings and events/activitiesSupport and manage kickoff meetings/activities for events/challengesOnsite Biometric Screening events and Flu Clinic coordination.Assist with Benefits Communications / support (as requested)Performs other client administrative and operational tasks as requested and agreed uponEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Required:A bachelor’s degree in health, wellness, public health, health promotion, or other related fieldsNational Board Health and Wellbeing Coach Eligible4+ years of experience in health, health prevention, health promotion, and/or behavioral change methodology 2+ years of project management experience in a related field or environment Preferred:2+ years of wellness program management or coordination role2+ years of experience working with senior level positionsOne or more of the following certifications: Certified Wellness Professional, Certified Personal Trainer, Registered DieticianGraduate level degree in health, public health, health promotion, or other related fieldsKnowledge, Skills and Competencies:Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude and ability to work individually or in a team setting with a high energy level and minimal supervisionAbility to work well with others (virtually and in person) in the solution of mutual problems; respect opinions, abilities, and contributions of others; cooperate and open minded in working with othersCommunicate effectively, both verbally and written communications, and have excellent active listening skills aligned with a coaching mindsetMaintain confidentiality by following PHI and HIPAA lawsDemonstrates strong attention to detail, produces high quality work, and requires only review and approval of completed and validated workCreate strong, trusting, professional relationships to encourage engagement and participation in health/wellness coaching programs and influence new programmingDemonstrates strong critical thinking skills, creative problem-solving skills, and providing thought leadership to solve business problemsKnowledge and passion around health promotion, behavioral change strategies, and organizational psychologyAbility to interpret and analyze data to communicate program efficacy and engagement, influence and motivate behavior changes, and strategize and continually improve wellness programmingAdvanced time management, planning, prioritization, organizational and multitasking skillsMotivated self-learner with new technologies and skills and takes initiative and ownership of tasks within area of responsibilityExcellent computer and documentation skills required (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)Leads with humility, charity, perseverance, relationships, engagement, and responsibility to create an inspiring, fun, and healthy work environmentWorking Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerNo manual labor or lifting
