Licensed Master Social Workers and Licensed Clinical Social Workers – Care that Gives HopeAre you looking for a job where you can make a difference?Hutchings Psychiatric Center (HPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, located in downtown Syracuse is recruiting Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join their Social Work team. Opportunities are available to work with individuals with mental illness in HPC’s inpatient units; the shift schedule is days including one (1) weekend day and one (1) evening.As an LMSW or LCSW assigned to HPC’s Inpatient unit, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides culturally competent and evidence-based treatment and support services in a recovery-oriented environment including:Performing appropriate assessment of risk, crisis intervention, and referrals in response to mental health crisesDeveloping individualized treatment and discharge plansProviding counseling and education to individuals, groups, and familiesAdvocating and providing connections to needed servicesAbout HPCHPC is a comprehensive, community-based mental health facility serving individuals from the Central New York region.
