Medical Biller

We are seeking for self directed knowledgeable and competent full cycle billing specialist to join our Internal Medicine/Urgent Care practice billing department.The ideal candidate for this position must have billing experience for at least one year, Steller knowledge of medical billing and medical insurance policies including Medicaid and Medicare. Must be able to to perform full cycle billing. Must be self directed and attentive to details. Must be very organized and able to prepare reports for the management. Must be able to manage other billing staffs. Must have sound knowledge in managing patient account.Role Description· Timely submission of medical claims to various insurance agencies· Eligibility and benefit verification.· Daily payment posting and follow up of all denials and appeals.· Identifying and billing secondary or tertiary insurance· Researching and appealing denied claims.· Able to handle all aspects of full cycle billing with minimal to no supervision.Our ideal candidate will have:· Excellent problem-solving skills to be able to research and resolve discrepancies, denials, and appeals.Must have sound knowledge and experience in handling patients account.· A solid work ethic, effective communication abilities, and the ability to work well in a team environment with little or no supervision.QualificationsProficiency in Medical Terminology and ICD-10 codingExperience with Denials management and Insurance processingKnowledge of Medicare billing proceduresExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMedical billing training or atleast three years of full time medical full cycle billing.Experience with eCW software billing is desirable but not required.Benefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
