Laboratory Assistant

Pride Health is seeking candidates for Laboratory Assistant opportunity for Irving TX 75063 .This is a 4+ months contract role with possibility for extension or conversion to FTE.Schedule: Monday-Friday 1130PM -8AMPay Range:$15-$17.20/hrJob Duties/Responsibilities:Receive and sort clinical lab specimens for testing and analysis.Prepare specimens and ensure accurate scanning/data entry of specimen and patient information.Perform minor maintenance on lab equipment and ensure proper functionality.Troubleshoot specimen-related issues as needed.Replenish test bench supplies when necessary.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Complete record logs and other administrative tasks as assigned.Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical laboratory background Preferred.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Data entry skills preferred.Medical background preferred which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.Previous experience in a production environment preferred.Prefer familiarity with mainframe computer operating system.Interested?
