Location: Ocala, FloridaAbout Us: Ocala Family Medical Center (OFMC) is a privately-owned, multi-specialty medical facility serving the Ocala community for over 30 years. Known for our family-oriented atmosphere, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive environment for our employees.We are currently looking to add an experienced, Board-Certified Gynecologist our team! Our Women’s Health Department is outpatient only (no Obstetrics) and provides full-scope Gynecological care to our patients; including colposcopies, biopsies, cyst removals and more!OFMC’s 20+ Primary Care Providers are the main referral sources; however, additional referrals come from other outside Providers. About the Role:Job Summary: Provide comprehensive patient care to ensure the needs of the patients are met.Examine patients, perform routine pap smears, screen for breast, cervical and ovarian cancers as well as diagnosing and treating patients with common women’s health issues/conditions.Communicate effectively with providers and medical staff to coordinate care. Ability to explain plan of care to patients (and families when necessary).
